What do you get by holding CPOOL?

CPOOL is Clearpool’s utility and governance token. Holding it may let you vote on matters such as whether new institutional borrowers should be whitelisted. The project also describes staking CPOOL as part of its borrower-access process: borrowers stake tokens to make a whitelisting proposal. That is different from simply holding CPOOL in a wallet.

Clearpool’s lending pools are designed for liquidity providers, who supply assets to pools and may receive interest and CPOOL incentives. Those pool returns are not an automatic benefit of owning CPOOL, and holding the token alone does not give you a claim on a borrower’s repayment or on protocol revenue.

The project has described plans for broader decentralized governance and a protocol-revenue buyback program. Treat these as plans unless you verify that they have been approved and put into operation. CPOOL’s value and usefulness can depend on how Clearpool’s lending activity, governance and reward rules develop.

Which networks and wallets can hold CPOOL?

CPOOL is issued on Ethereum and Solana. Before receiving or sending it, confirm which network the sender, exchange or wallet is using and check the token’s contract or mint address against Clearpool’s official information. A token with the same ticker on another network may not be the asset you intend to transfer.

A wallet must support the relevant network and token standard. For self-custody, you control the recovery phrase and are responsible for keeping it private; losing it can mean losing access. An exchange may custody CPOOL for you, but then withdrawals, supported networks and account access depend on that provider.

Clearpool has also described a bridge for moving CPOOL between Ethereum and Polygon. That route is distinct from the issuance on Ethereum and Solana listed for CPOOL, so confirm the exact asset and supported route before using it. Do not assume that a wallet showing “CPOOL” has the correct token simply because the ticker matches.

How large is CPOOL’s supply, and what can move it?

CPOOL has a stated maximum supply of 1 billion tokens. As of 2026-11-08, the reported circulating and total supplies were also 1 billion each. That means the reported supply was fully circulating at that snapshot, but circulating supply and market statistics can change; check current figures before relying on them.

The token’s role in governance, borrower staking and incentives can affect demand, while changes in lending activity or reward policies may affect how participants use it. A planned buyback should not be treated as a guaranteed source of demand: Clearpool would need to confirm whether a program is active, its terms and the amount of revenue involved.

As of 2026-11-08, CPOOL traded at about $0.0257, with a market capitalization of about $25.7 million. These are volatile market figures, not a measure of the token’s future value. The reported fully diluted valuation was also about $25.7 million, reflecting the stated supply figures at that time.

How can you get and store CPOOL?

You can generally obtain CPOOL through a crypto exchange that lists it or by swapping another token on a compatible decentralized exchange. Availability depends on your location, the platform and the network you choose. Check the token contract or mint, deposit network and withdrawal network carefully; selecting the wrong network can make funds difficult or impossible to recover.

If you use an exchange, read its deposit and withdrawal rules, including minimums, network support and any account verification requirements. For a decentralized exchange, check the trading pair, price impact, liquidity and transaction details before confirming. A quoted price can differ from the final amount received, especially in a thin market.

For storage, you can leave CPOOL with a custodial provider or withdraw it to a wallet you control. Self-custody gives you control of the keys but also responsibility for backups and security. Keep recovery phrases offline and never share them with anyone claiming to help you access or stake tokens.

What does it cost to move CPOOL?

A CPOOL transfer usually costs the network’s transaction fee, paid in that network’s gas token rather than in CPOOL. The amount varies with network congestion and transaction type; Clearpool does not publish a fixed transfer fee. Check the wallet’s fee estimate before confirming, and keep enough of the network’s gas token available to complete the transaction.

Moving tokens through a bridge can add costs beyond a normal transfer. You may pay fees on the source and destination networks, and the bridge may apply its own charge or require extra transactions. The amount and timing can vary. Bridging also introduces smart-contract and operational risks, so do not treat it as a fee-free way to change networks.

A small test transfer can help you confirm the destination network and address before sending a larger amount, though it still incurs fees. If you are withdrawing from an exchange, check whether its displayed withdrawal charge is separate from the network fee and whether the destination network matches your wallet.

What can go wrong with CPOOL or Clearpool lending?

CPOOL carries market risk: its price can fall sharply, and trading volume or liquidity may be limited when you want to exit. As of 2026-11-08, its price was about 99% below its reported all-time high of $2.55 on 2021-11-16. A past high does not indicate that the token will recover.

Clearpool’s lending activity also has credit and pool risks. Institutional loans described as unsecured do not have conventional collateral backing repayment, so a borrower default could affect a pool’s liquidity providers. CPOOL ownership does not protect you from those losses, and staking or reward programs can add smart-contract, protocol and rule-change risks.

Other risks include sending tokens on the wrong network, bridge failures, compromised keys and changes to governance or borrower access. Clearpool does not publish a guaranteed yield for simply holding CPOOL. Before interacting with a pool or staking, check its current terms, borrower information, withdrawal conditions and any disclosed audits; do not treat incentives as guaranteed returns.

What is known about CPOOL’s history and proposed changes?

Clearpool’s launch date is not published. Its stated model connects institutional borrowers with DeFi liquidity providers through lending pools, with interest rates driven by supply and demand. CPOOL is intended to support governance, borrower staking and incentives within that system. The project also describes cpTokens as pool-related tokens intended to underpin tokenized credit and risk-management features.

CPOOL’s reported all-time high was $2.55 on 2021-11-16, and its reported all-time low was about $0.016 on 2026-08-19. As of 2026-11-08, it was about $0.0257. These dated figures show substantial volatility; they do not establish a likely future price.

A proposal to expand Clearpool to the XRP Ledger and rename CPOOL to CLEAR has also been described. A proposal is not the same as an approved or completed migration. Before transferring tokens or relying on a new ticker, confirm whether any change has taken effect, what happens to existing CPOOL, and which network and token contract are supported.

CPOOL FAQs

What is CPOOL used for?

CPOOL is Clearpool’s utility and governance token. It is intended for governance, borrower staking and incentives, but holding it alone does not give you a share of lending-pool interest.

Which networks support CPOOL?

CPOOL is issued on Ethereum and Solana. Confirm the network and the token contract or mint before you deposit or withdraw, since a matching ticker does not prove that an asset is the right one.

What is the total supply of CPOOL?

The stated maximum supply is 1 billion CPOOL. As of 2026-11-08, the reported circulating and total supplies were also 1 billion each; supply and market figures should be checked again as they can change.

What are CPOOL transfer and bridge fees?

The fee depends on the network and current congestion, and is generally paid in that network’s gas token. A bridge can add source-network, destination-network and bridge charges, so review the estimate before confirming.

Does holding CPOOL earn lending interest?

No. CPOOL is associated with Clearpool’s protocol, but it does not guarantee lending returns or repayment by borrowers. Unsecured lending can expose liquidity providers to borrower default, and CPOOL itself can lose value.

What is the market cap of Clearpool?

As of Nov 8, 2026, Clearpool had a market cap of about $25.7M, ranking #703 among cryptocurrencies by market capitalisation. Market cap is price multiplied by circulating supply, so it moves with the price.

What is the all-time high of CPOOL?

Clearpool's all-time high is $2.55, reached on Nov 16, 2021. Its all-time low is $0.0160 (Aug 19, 2026). Past prices say nothing about future returns.

What is the circulating supply of CPOOL?

As of Nov 8, 2026, about 1B CPOOL were in circulation, against a maximum supply of 1B.

Which blockchains is CPOOL on?

It has token contracts on Ethereum, Solana.
