What do you get by holding BYTE?

BYTE is a meme token built around AI and internet culture, not a token with a clearly defined payment, governance or service function. Its theme draws on a story about Grok naming a dog “Byte”; that association does not make BYTE an official Grok or xAI token. The project describes BYTE as a community-driven meme token and promotes it as a playful link to AI adoption. That is a theme, not a promise that holding BYTE gives you access to AI products or a share of a business.

The project also describes BYTE as zero-tax and says its liquidity has been permanently burned and contract ownership renounced. Treat these as project claims, not guarantees that trading is risk-free or that the token’s code and markets are safe. Even if a contract cannot be changed by an owner, the price can still fall, liquidity can dry up and buyers can lose their entire investment. BYTE’s usefulness, in practical terms, is mainly trading and participation in its meme-token community.

Which networks and wallets can hold BYTE?

BYTE is listed on Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, BNB Chain and Solana. It is not described as the native token of any of those networks. A ticker is not a unique identifier, so check the exact token contract address and network before buying or receiving BYTE; another token can use the same name and symbol.

Use a wallet that supports the specific network you intend to use. An Ethereum-compatible wallet may support Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base or BNB Chain when configured for that network, while Solana requires a wallet that supports Solana tokens. These are network-level distinctions, not confirmation that a particular wallet supports BYTE. Check the wallet’s token and network details before sending. A transfer on the wrong network may not arrive where you expect, and recovering it may be difficult or impossible.

Do not assume BYTE can be moved freely between these chains. Use a bridge only if the project identifies it as an official option and you understand which version of the token you will receive. Check the address and network again on the transaction confirmation screen.

How much BYTE exists, and what can affect a trade?

BYTE has a maximum supply of 1 trillion tokens. The reported circulating and total supply are both about 964.46 billion, as of 2026-11-08. The gap between that figure and the maximum does not, by itself, tell you when or whether the remaining supply will enter circulation. Check the token contract and current project announcements if you need to understand supply changes.

As of 2026-11-08, BYTE’s reported market capitalization was about $1.4 million and its 24-hour trading volume was about $29,000. These figures can change quickly, and low trading volume can make it harder to buy or sell at a price close to the displayed quote. A large token count also does not make each token valuable or ensure there will be buyers.

Before trading, check the market’s liquidity, the price impact shown for your trade and any network fee. The project’s zero-tax claim does not mean a transaction has no cost: network fees and exchange costs may still apply. Do not rely on a past price or market-cap figure as a guide to future value.

How can you store BYTE, and what could go wrong?

Store BYTE in a wallet that supports its network, and keep your recovery phrase offline. Never share that phrase or a private key with anyone, including someone claiming to offer support. A wallet app shows and manages access to tokens; it does not protect you if you approve a malicious transaction or disclose your recovery phrase.

Before sending or swapping BYTE, verify the network, contract address, destination and amount. Be cautious with search results, social posts and unsolicited messages: copycat tokens and fake claim or airdrop pages can use BYTE’s name. Do not connect your wallet or approve a transaction just because a site uses familiar branding. Read what a wallet approval allows, and avoid granting broad token permissions when they are not needed.

Burned liquidity and renounced ownership, even if accurate, do not remove market, technical or scam risks. BYTE can lose value, trading can become illiquid, and mistakes in a crypto transfer are often irreversible. Keep only what you can afford to lose, and secure your wallet and recovery phrase separately.
