Barking Puppy (BP) is a community-operated Solana meme coin themed around the Barking Puppy persona. Its stated purpose is to celebrate that persona and bring together a community using underdog and anti-establishment imagery. It is not described as a token for paying for a service, governing a protocol or earning income, so treat it as a social, speculative token rather than a utility asset.

BP was launched through Pump.fun on January 18, 2026, by a fan. The project says it is fan-made and has no direct connection to the persona or the Gillions; any apparent connection is coincidental. That distinction matters: do not assume an endorsement, shared ownership or backing from the people associated with the persona.

If you are considering BP, ask whether you are comfortable holding a meme coin whose appeal depends heavily on community attention. A lively community does not guarantee ongoing interest, liquidity or a market for your tokens.

BP is issued on Solana; it is not Solana’s native token. You need a Solana-compatible wallet that can receive and display the token.
