Which token do you get for staking ETH or BNB?

Lido is for ETH: you deposit ETH and receive stETH, a liquid staking token representing your staked position and accrued rewards. Lista Liquid Staking is for BNB: you stake BNB on BNB Chain and receive slisBNB, which is designed to reflect BNB staking rewards. These tokens are not interchangeable, and neither protocol lets you stake the other service’s asset.

Lido’s receipt token may be usable in supported DeFi apps, though each app adds its own risks. Lista also describes slisBNB as a token for a staked position, but its availability and liquidity in other applications depend on those applications. LISTA is Lista’s project token, not the staking receipt. If you are deciding between them, start with the asset you already hold and the chain you are willing to use.

What will Lido and Lista cost you?

Lido’s stated Ethereum staking fee is 10% of staking rewards, not 10% of your deposit. Your rewards vary, and Ethereum gas is an additional cost. Trading stETH or using it in another DeFi service can bring further network charges, spreads or service fees. Check the current interface and terms before staking, since fee terms can change.

Lista Liquid Staking does not publish its liquid-staking fee. You will also need BNB for BNB Chain network fees, separate from any protocol charge. Before approving a transaction, review the amount of BNB exchanged for slisBNB and any fee or conversion terms shown in the app. Without a published protocol fee, you cannot make a complete fee comparison in advance; treat the app’s current transaction details as essential rather than assuming the service is free.

Which is safer for your funds?

Neither option removes the risks of staking. With both, smart-contract issues, validator or network problems, and a receipt token trading away from its intended relationship to the underlying asset can lead to losses. Staked ETH and BNB can also fall in market value. Do not treat a displayed or implied reward rate as guaranteed.

Both projects list two audits, but the detail differs. Lido also lists a bug bounty and open-source code; these are useful safeguards, not guarantees against exploits or losses. Lista’s audit names, scope and findings are not specified, so you would need to inspect the actual reports to understand what was reviewed. On published security detail, Lido gives you more to assess. That does not establish that Lido is risk-free or prove that it is safer in every respect.

How quickly can you get your ETH or BNB back?

Lido says you can request an on-protocol withdrawal, but processing can involve a queue. Selling stETH on a secondary market may be another option, but the price can be below ETH and the sale can involve trading costs. “Liquid” therefore does not mean instant redemption at a guaranteed value. Check current queue conditions and market liquidity if you may need your ETH by a particular date.

Lista does not publish redemption timing or limits. Its slisBNB token may be tradable or usable elsewhere, but that does not guarantee deep liquidity or immediate access to BNB. Check the app’s current redemption terms and token liquidity before staking. If you need a fixed date for access to your funds, neither protocol offers a basis for assuming that access is guaranteed.

Which is easier to start with?

Both require a compatible crypto wallet, the relevant asset and enough funds for network fees. For Lido, connect a wallet with ETH on Ethereum, review the quoted transaction details and approve the deposit. Lido lists integrations including MetaMask and Ledger Live. You can hold stETH or use supported integrations, but each additional protocol introduces separate risks.

For Lista, use a wallet that supports BNB Chain and hold BNB for both staking and network fees. Its instructions direct users to the Earn section to choose liquid staking and approve the transaction in their wallet. Supported wallet brands, minimum deposits and processing speed are not published. In either case, check the network and token shown before approving. If you are new to wallet transactions, take time to understand approvals and keep recovery details secure.

Verdict: Lido or Lista Liquid Staking?

Pick Lido if you hold ETH, want stETH for liquid staking, and value the clearer published fee and additional security disclosures. Its 10% reward fee is known, but withdrawal queues, market discounts and contract risks still matter. Pick Lista Liquid Staking if you hold BNB and want slisBNB rather than leaving BNB unstaked. Its protocol fee and redemption timing are not published, so check the live app carefully before committing. Neither is a fit if you need guaranteed returns or certain access to your funds on a specific date.
